Anthro Technology Furniture® has an opportunity for a Membrane Thermo foil Press Operator to join our Wood routing Department.

The successful candidate will have a proven track record of:

    Responsibilities
  • Ensure the delivery of high quality pressed tops using the Wemhonër Membrane Press to order fulfillment in a timely manner and oversee all aspects of foil top production including but not limited to:
  • Spraying of adhesive
  • Loading membrane press
  • Press programs and functions
  • Part trimming and clean-up
  • Routine maintenance and work cell housekeeping
  • Maintain spray equipment to sustain like new performance including daily cleaning storage and booth filter replacement.
  • Monitor and ensure the proper storage, mixing and disposal practices for adhesives are rigorously followed.
  • Ensure personal safety equipment is used for the appropriate activity including but not limited to safety goggles and respirators.
  • Maintain work cell cleanliness to like new condition.
  • Organize work cell activity to operate efficiently while ensuring the equipment is used in safe and factory approved methods.
  • Report any variances in equipment, process or raw material to the Plant

    Requirements
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Completion of Level 2 certification for Membrane Press work cell when certification process is available
  • Physical ability to perform all duties assigned
  • Ability to manually lift up to 75 pounds
  • Willingness to work day or swing shift

  • Web Designer


    We need an experience Web Designer to join our Tualatin team. The Website Designer will work primarily on re-designing the website with a web development team. They will develop projects from their initial concept to final publication with optimized graphics and XHTML/CSS or Photoshop files. The ideal candidate will be an active participant on the web development team providing opinions and creative direction. This person must be detail oriented, organized, and be a clear communicator, and also must stay current with new trends in web design, including e-commerce interfaces.

    Requirements:
  • 3-5 years experience designing for the web
  • Degree in Graphic Design or Interactive Design
  • Extensive knowledge of Photoshop, Illustrator, Flash, HTML/XHTML, CSS
  • Ability to meet deadlines and schedules
  • Able to work in a collaborative creative environment
  • Able to work in the PC environment

    Nice to have:
  • Print design and production experience using InDesign, Illustrator or Quark.
  • Knowledge of ActionScript, Javascript, AJAX, SQL, Visual Studio

    Qualified candidates must include a link to their online portfolio containing published web projects. Salary is competitive and commensurate with experience.
